Producing Assistant / 2025 / New York

Concerto

A film project shaped by graduate filmmakers, New York locations, production coordination, and the practical work of moving an image from planning into execution.

Role

Producing assistant across a fast-moving independent set.

On Concerto, I worked alongside graduate filmmakers from USC and Columbia University as part of an approximately 20-person production team.

I coordinated location logistics in New York City, communicated with local businesses to secure filming access, assisted with production operations, and documented behind-the-scenes content throughout the shoot.

The experience strengthened my understanding of independent filmmaking, cross-functional collaboration, and the practical challenges of bringing creative projects from planning to execution.
