01 / Production

Tisch New Theatre (TNT) Off Broadway

Scenic Designer / Props & Costume Crew

  • Collaborated with a 60-member production team, contributing 20+ hours weekly to rehearsals, choreography coordination, scenic development, and backstage operations.
  • Managed props, costumes, and cross-department communication from initial design concepts through final performances.
  • Helped deliver a sold-out 10-night run at the Mezzanine Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres.

Producing Assistant

  • Supported New York exterior shoots, including communication around space usage and restaurant access in Little Italy.
  • Collaborated with Columbia and USC film graduate students as part of a 20-person crew producing a film for Adobe commercial purposes.
  • Shot behind-the-scenes footage for social media promotion and documented crew member backgrounds.

  • Directed and produced a two-minute film from scratch.
  • Drafted choreography and script centered on selfhood, using mirrors to explore self-reflection.
  • Acted in the film, formed a five-person producing team, and edited all footage into the final short.

Advanced Writing & Research in the Arts

Researcher

  • Conducted interdisciplinary research comparing Chinese and Western perspectives on generative AI, creativity, cultural production, and artistic authorship.
  • Produced a gender and performance studies analysis of Lust, Caution, focusing on female performers in intimate scenes through costume, lighting, and cultural expectation.
  • Integrated media studies, performance theory, and cross-cultural analysis to develop research on identity, spectatorship, and representation.

Postcard From Cuba

Artist & Cultural Researcher

  • Studied travel writing through architecture, conversation, walking, food practice, and everyday encounters in Havana.
  • Researched cuisine as a non-verbal language of memory, care, censorship, migration, and political feeling.
  • Designed a five-course Cuban and Chinese fusion cuisine by shadowing kitchens in Havana and presented the culinary experience to 20+ visitors.

  • Collaborated with more than 20 schools worldwide to solicit and coordinate art submissions.
  • Presented 30 artworks representing teenage artists from five countries across sculpture, mixed media, 2D/3D painting, and installation.
  • Traveled to five boarding schools along the East Coast to support exhibition development and dialogue.
